Camp Details

HOURS

Full day

9:00am – 4:00pm

Half Day

9:00am – 1:00pm

To enroll, children must have been born in 2015 or earlier.

DROP OFF

Preschool: Children in the nursery group will meet in the day room. The staff are aware your children might have separation issues and will be prepared to work with you to make this experience as easy as possible.

Full Day: Each group will be assigned a drop off location (i.e. playground, ping pong area etc). A parent or caregiver must walk each child to his/her drop off location and sign in with their head counselor.

No child is permitted on the premises without a parent prior to 9:00am. If you are not able to stay with your child until 9:00am, please make arrangements with someone to watch your child.

All children must be signed out promptly at end of day. Parents and caregivers please be on time.

ILLNESS

If you think your child might be ill or have a fever, it is vital you keep him/her home until the child feels better. It is unfair to the staff and other children to send your child in when they are ill. Children should be kept home until fever free without medication for 24 hours.

LUNCH/SNACK

Lunch will be provided as well as a morning and afternoon snack daily. (NO PM snack for Nursery). Our concessionaire has created a great menu for Bayberry. Daily back-up options will continue to be offered.

Please note if your child does not eat any of the items provided, you are responsible for providing their lunch/snacks. Please notify the director as soon as possible regarding such situations.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Bayberry Sleepover – July 20. Please note only children attending camp on the sleepover week are permitted to stay for the sleepover. If your child is NOT enrolled the week of the sleepover, he or she will not be permitted to stay – no exceptions. Children 6 years old (by 12/31/18) are invited to stay over at the sleepover. All Bayberry campers are welcome to attend the events prior until 9pm.

Bayberry Camp Show – August 2. Come join us for a delightful evening of song and dance.

Only enrolled campers will be able to partake in our special events / activities. Please do not put any staff member in an uncomfortable position by asking to bring non-enrolled children to participate in any camp activity.

A calendar of events and activities is here on this website to the right. Should there be a need for something to be rescheduled, we will advise via notice and or email notification. Please check your child’s bag for such notes as well as the camp bulletin board daily.

VOLUNTEERS

Both the Committee and the staff welcome parent volunteers. If there is something special you would like to share with the children, please contact the Director so that it may be scheduled.
